Shatin was once an ancient rural area in Hong Kong. It also had a short-lived "Shatin Market" that has been demolished. It has now developed into a mature new town. The tour will start from Tai Wai Jicun Village, visit the ancient village style, pass Wuyuan to learn about the hot topics in recent months, and then go to Tsang Tai Uk to take a closer look at the commercial and residential houses in the Qing Dynasty, along the Shing Mun River to see the new and old residential developments in Shatin, and the historical sites of Wong Uk style. 沙田曾是香港古老的鄉郊區域，亦曾有過短暫但已被清拆的『沙田墟』，現已發展為成熟新市鎮。遊程會由大圍積存圍出發，訪尋古老圍村風貌，路經吳園了解近月熱門話題，再到曾大屋細看清未商人民宅，沿城門河看沙田新舊住宅發展，及王屋風貌史跡。
